Forever fighting an endless battle
as the events of a day untangles
From sunrise to sunrise
I wonder what adventure or
Obstacles may arise
It matters naught,
The warrior in me is always
Ready as should be
Even as I sleep
my defenses do not cease
For I am the restless warrior
Like a hawk, I watch out
For those with evil thoughts
Like a cub, I await for
a warm furry hug
Like a Wolf, I sense the motive
Of those who hide their claws
Like a hound, I welcome a
pat with words of praise
Like a bird, I feel my spirit
roam the sky
Always seeking a reply
Never ever underestimate
The restless warrior
I possess the power and energy
to shift my abilities when need be
Even when you think
I'm trapped in the web you weaved
The restless warrior survives
Because she abides her time
Alone but not deterred
To reach my goals and desires
with sorrow or with joy
Frighten but not coward
to fight a cause
aided with wisdom and faith
Vulnerable but strong
To stand for fairness, good, and right
in my past and present life
Because I am the restless warrior
